STEPS Course - 25th September to 8th November 2018

We are delighted to be working with Bridget Crabtree who will be running a STEPS course.   The STEPs programme is designed to increase people’s self-confidence and self-belief and give them an insight into how the mind works and how relationships with family, friends and colleagues can be improved. After participating in the programme, individuals have greater expectations of success and higher aspirations and ambitions. Participants experience:

higher levels of motivation • increased self-belief • improved ability to set goals

It will be run at Beaumont Primary Academy beginning on Tuesday 25th September from 9am to 11.30am for 8 weeks until 20th November.

Parent Workshop - 7th November to 28th November 2018

Following our successful course last year, we are pleased to offer a second parent workshop.

It will begin on Wednesday 7th November 2018 from 9am-12pm at Beaumont Primary Academy.  The course will run for 4 weeks, each Wednesday, and you will be working with a lady called Helen Ashcroft, who we have worked with on parent learning many times in the past. Helen is very friendly, experienced and welcoming and always gets a very good response from parents she works with.

She will work with you to think about topics such as family first aid, health and hygiene, dealing with behaviours, safety in the home, food safety and importantly you and your needs as a parent. Helen will listen to you and focus the sessions around what you would like as a group of parents.

There will be between 10-15 parents on the course and so it will be a great opportunity to meet and talk to other parents.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided and the course is free,
